Flawed Artist

Today I got a post from my good friend Morgan, about sone changes occuring in her life. It's funny-I never expected to become good friends via an iPhone app...but I've made many. Morgan is one of the biggest, though. So, tonight, my blog pics are in the tune of a flawed, geek-tastic nerdfighter named Morgan. May you find that awesome new job quickly!

I always meant to put that up. You are The Sherwood, Mirgan. Lol.

Not my pic, but also inspired to share with flawedartist, aka Morgan.

The confidence I gained for being a gamer chick-it all came from you! <3

WoW and spectacled Stitch-teh tribute for teh Morgan. Love you Morgan! Oh, and #nerdfighter ftw.

OS 3.0 Wins My Heart...But WoW stole my Soul

*hangs head in shame*

I know it's pathetic, a 10 day trial shouldn't be so addictive, but it is...

•ahem• in other news, today, the new OS came out for the iPhone, which I woke up for around 6. Had to steady myself, read all the speculation, watch the twitterverse for the reactions, etc.

It took three tries for me to download mine, as luck would have it. First time, it stopped suddenly, and upon examining the wire to the USB port, I noticed a rather sad fact: my cord was slightly severed on several sections. Deep, hateful thoughts of a purring cat nearby stormed my mind, but luckily I have 3 backups. Second time I accidentally ripped it out in my eagerness to tend to the massive radar tribute cookie cooking in my oven:

Finally, I unplugged it after I *thought* my phone was going to explode because it *whirr'd* at me. Turned out it was a ringtone. Btw, thanks for the solicitation call ATT. I hate you.

My favorite thing, hands down about the iPhone: the faster shutter response on the camera-Stitch just got more cuddly! It used to take a good 10-15 seconds for my camera to open. Now? Barely one! And the picture *usually* comes back really really clear! Please see the images below:

He heard a noise and shuffled closer-normally this would be a brownish blur of sadness-but the new camera caught those huge eyes of his quite nicely.

About 1/2 a second before he batted at the phone. Lol.

Other notably cool features: the recording mic thingy. *note my lack of proffesionalism*

Croon like Ol' Blue Eyes- but don't expect the crackling sound of record static. Now, you can hear Whispers, the annoying shuffle of your restless spouse who didn't want to download his earlier, etc.

Too lazy to scroll? So am I. Welcome to Search! Type in the first few letters, and find any app, song, contact, or email in your phone. May the slothfulness commence!

Watch TV shows on your phone during boring long hours of work. Company policies everywhere are ready to be re-written. Sadly, mostly call centers.

Finally, the ol' copy and paste thingamabob. In case you don't want to rewrite the text your sister just sent saying don't tell Ashley- so you can send it to Ashley- you can now highlight it and dump it. Win! Blackmail and sibling rivalries just went to defcon EPIC.

*yawn* bed, peeps. *whew*

Cat, I'm A Kitty Cat, and I Dance Dance Dance...

Stitch. My fluffy. My cute little squishy. Completely photogenic. Rediculously fun to torture. Here he displays a classic half-roll. In other cultures this may be the doll pose, or the eggroll.

Here we show Stitch in a picture that clearly states who he feels is superior in the relationship. This also explains why Stitch lays across Brians face, apparently. According to Brian, Stitch lurks until he senses even breathing, then silently lurks the pillows until he can contort his body to stop all air passages. A merciless cuddler.

Here Stitch displays a great ability to camoflauge himself behind radar glasses. He seriously doesn't mind them. Which only adds to the ninja.

Here Stitch, in pursuit of his once partner-in-crime-turned-evil, blows through the bottom of a paper bag. A very lucky shot on my part. Seriously, his face-made of awesome.

Unfortunately his face was stuck. Hilarity ensued as I struggled to take pictures. No one helped him get unstuck for some time.

Finally, Stitch at rest, as only Stitch can be.

This concludes the Kitty post. Stitch makes regular appearances, though. Promise. ^.^

In other news, my baby sister Michelle is pregnant!!! Congratulations Kyle and Michelle, I'm so excited for you! <3333

Love you sissy!!!

Many Much

Many much shopping carts. This is from WinCo, which I love, btw. Cheap prices, cheaper food- and some crazies depending on the time of day ^.^ this picture entertains me most because earlier, all 500 carts disappeared. People were selling their carts back for 5.00. Seriously. Messed. Up.

Tree branches! Took this shot while B and I went for a walk a few weeks back. I like having nothing but sky and tree. It was in a vacant lot ^.^

Note to self: when using the application mover, only push the contact info to the other phone 1 time. Not 15, or 28. Just 1. Also note: it won't tell you that. You should check your contacts after waiting a full minute.*sigh*

Not many much chips. But at least a few. Personally, I prefer Michigan Rummy to Poker any day. That's the best game. ^.^

All for now, I gotta make some more cookies!

Virtual Stumble Upon

I didn't post them yesterday because I didn't want to have such a huge post- so FYI, I have some new pics! This one is from a demo put on by the local SCA, which, according to the FBI, means card-carrying fringe lunatics. While at the event, B told me he still had one...I never knew....

Here we have several activities forming-weaving, chain mail, fighting, and girls wearing corsets. Fun for everyone!

Brian immediately fell in and had an in-depth conversation about chain mail. I meanwhile, talked with my friend Clarissa, or, in the SCA scene, Lady Claire ^.^ she's adorable!!!

An interesting spear they had chillin in the background. I wonder who made it.

Some warriors fighting. I think one was a baron, the other was a knight.

My favorite picture-you can take the geek out of the house, but a geek they remain. In this case, a classic Star Wars bounty hunter insignia on a shield.

Sir Knight, and a very beautiful dress! Very very cool. I love virtual Stumble Upons ^.^

Cat Sith in Plaid. Because every post should have token cat moments.

Saturdays are my love

I woke up earlier than one should on a Saturday, thanks to an angry, hungry, inconsiderate cat that hates me. I really want a puppy. In other news, I went down to Coeur d Alene park after visiting family-and it was a day of surprises!

Apparently Brian felt the need to point...I never noticed that until I put this in. Hm. Anyways, this is the Coeur d Alene Resort. Very nice hotel with a rotating restaurant and a huge boardwalk and a floating golf course. Retirement heaven, and NIC makes it a college haven. Also where I spent most of my life.

A leaf I found floating aimlessly-I thought it might look poetic ^.^ Brian never walked through here, so it was hard for me to be enthusiastic about the "mountains!" and "ducks" and the "flaming boat!!"....wait, flaming boat?!

Ah, well, that I was quite impressed with. Loved the custom airbrushing on this- True Fire has always had my interest. The stairs to get down to it were all but a death trap though, so I was skiddish about even being allowed in the area! We clicked some pics and scrammed, didn't want to get yelled at...

Rainbow paddleboats-very awesome picture, one of my favorites, in fact, hehe, but it reminds me that we walked past people going in a gay cruise. I can tell you now, B and I got some severely hostile stares from people. I don't know why. It's like they blamed me for them being gay or something. I never judged them. I just wanted to walk the boardwalk and pass go, collect 200.00...

Finally, in a shameless plug of wealthy childrens books writers, a statue of a moose and a mouse, from, you guessed it, a childrens book. The statue was cute, and I wanted to get another shot, but then this couple *as I'm taking this picture* start to haul their child over to sit on the statue. Then they stood there, took some pictures, and the leaned on the moose and talked for a good 20 minutes. Forget that noise, I got better things to do. -.- but in the future, please be considerate of the statues: they aren't benches, nor is it polite to hog sculptures so no one can take pictures, geez.

That's all for now. Well, except that I love this BlogPress app for my iPhone. It totally rocks. It makes it much easier to blog. ^.^

Finally! ^.^

Finally! My iPhone has an app to post to Blogger! Love it!!!!

Also, here's some epic pics:

Time for bed- I'll edit this tomorrow. ^.^
