Waiting

Expect a bunch of posts this week, peeps, I am seriously stressed about my latest interview as I actually *want* to work there, and they gave me a 7 day window. *gah* So we'll see how my sanity is by the end of this.

I figured I ought to go back through and post some of my favorite pics from various little adventures in life: Explained below.

Also, went to the possible In-laws this weekend-it went pretty well-except when his father nearly killed us with bottle rockets. That kinda did not go awesome.

Here goesThis particular beauty came from Brian's Aunts house. The contrast of the colors and the rustic ease of it all inspired me to snap a shot-which inspired Brian in turn to roll his eyes and guffaw loudly. In his defense, I'd just spent ten minutes trying to get that perfect shot of an obese, sleeping Golden Retriever.


Imagine, if you will: Hot, steamy rice, smothered in a warm, coconut milk. Topped with cool, perfectly ripe mango slices, more coconut milk, and sesame seeds. Now, imagine a girl with an obsession with prawns....and your best friend. Life isn't much better than that, eh? Not to mention, the food was epic. And before you ask about the girl with the obsession, she has been duly named Prawns.

This fantastically bleached skull was found in an Autumn-like gazebo, at a cabin overlooking Loon Lake at Inchelium, Washington. Beautiful town, friendly people, awesome skulls.
